Direct contacts with sports therapists and medical coaches at professional clubs are very important to us, because we can make repeated use of their wide experience in the everyday routine of professional sport and on the field to develop Perskindol products.
When we initiated Perskindol Massage Courses, it was clear to us that they should be directed by a professional. The former head masseur of the Swiss Ice Hockey Association, Jack Eugster, has now been passing on his knowledge to professional sportsmen and women as well as to interested amateur sportsmen and women for more than eight years. His wide experience is in greater demand than ever. In managing these courses, Jack Eugster has had the skilful assistance of Barbara Sigrist and Christina Flachsmann.
Course objectives
The courses take place about eight times a year at the Schuhmacher Fitness Centre in Dübendorf. The two-day basic course (Med Coach I) deals with six subject areas. In addition to sports massage, those attending are also given information on sports injuries, stretching, taping, doping and nutrition. Jack Eugster puts over these aspects with the closest possible attention to practical application, with variety and with a large dose of humour.
For all those who would like to learn more about sports massage, we offer two 3-day advanced seminars. The Med Coach II and Med Coach III courses take place in the Resort Hotel in Moggelsberg.
